LNG

Shareholders in the BP-operated Tangguh LNG plant in Indonesia are studying plans for an expansion that could see exported LNG from the project rise by a third from the current level of around 120 cargoes expected to be delivered in 2011.

The Tangguh LNG plant cost $5 billion to bring on stream in 2009 and has two liquefaction Trains, each with a nameplate production capacity of 3.8 million tonnes per annum.
