Bangladesh looks to long term LNG agreements

An adviser to Bangladesh’s energy ministry told the IEW Conference yesterday that the country is interested in long-term LNG deals with exporters like Brunei.

Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan said that the government is close to finalising a list of exporting countries from which it will buy LNG on a spot basis. He also revealed that two LNG import facilities are planned.
