European natural gas futures eased toward €41 per megawatt-hour yesterday, slowing the sharp rebound from the previous session, as markets continued to assess the availability of Russian natural gas for Europe next year.
Slovakia had announced that it was closer to a solution to keep Russian gas flowing through Ukraine next year, following meetings in Kyiv and Moscow, newswires reported.
