UAE-based Gas Exporters Countries Forum (GECF) has increased its global gas consumption growth forecast for this year by 2.4%, in its November report. 

Last month, the EU recorded its third consecutive year-on-year increase in gas consumption, rising by 12% to 35 bill cu m, following seven months of continuous decline.
