Sakhalin LNG opened; will ship 50 cargoes in 2009

Russia’s President Dmitri Medvedev officially opened the nation’s first LNG production plant on Sakhalin Island in the Russian Far East and the facility will likely deliver a fewer-than-expected 50 cargoes during 2009.
