Energy industry barometer Baker Hughes still locked in merger hold-up after a year

Baker Hughes, the energy services company famous for its rig counts that take the weekly pulse of the industry, is still immersed in antitrust negotiations more than a year after its planned merger with Halliburton was first revealed.
