Cheniere former CEO insists on keeping board seat to see first LNG cargo shipped

Former Cheniere Energy Chief Executive and Chairman Charif Souki said the first cargo from the Sabine Pass LNG export plant would leave the Louisiana facility in the third week of January, while adding that he intended to exercise his right to stay on the board of directors for now as the new regime does not have the authority to remove him until June, 2016.
