Norwegian government imposes end to energy industry strike that would have cut half of gas supply to Europe

The Norwegian government has imposed compulsory arbitration under the labour laws to terminate strike action in the pay dispute involving onshore and offshore union members that could have halted more than half of Norway’s natural gas exports to Europe with effect from July 9.
