Middle Eastern LNG hoped to return in Q3-2026

Shipping disruptions through the Strait of Hormuz are hoped to ease by end April, by when Energy Aspects reckons more Middle Eastern LNG supply will start reaching international buyers. If the Hormuz transit disruption lasts to end-July or beyond, however, prices for imported LNG would need to rise to well above 2022-levels for Europe to stock up for winter – in stark competition with utility buyers in North Asia.
