Sinopec sources sizable volumes from gas-rich Sichuan Basin

China Petroleum and Chemical Corp. (Sinopec) has announced sizeable natural gas and oil flows from a strategic shale project in southwest China. Sinopec said the Xingye-9 well located in the gas-rich Sichuan Basin, tested a daily flow of 108.15 cubic metres of oil and 15,800 cubic metres of natural gas.
