US senators ask Energy Secretary if some of approved LNG projects can still be rejected

A group of a dozen United States senators from the Democratic Party in the Northeast and the Midwest has sent a letter to US Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz requesting a slowdown in the approval rate of liquefied natural gas export projects and asked if some of the 18 approved ventures could be rejected at a later date.
