US Energy Secretary Moniz defends track record of department on LNG plant approvals

US Congress proposals to accelerate the Department of Energy’s approval of liquefied natural gas export projects are unnecessary because of the government’s recent good track record, Energy Secretary Ernest G. Moniz told a congressional hearing on energy.
