Signal to US LNG projects as drilling drops to new lows

The number of rigs drilling for natural gas and oil in the United States fell by nine to 480 in the latest published weekly figures, the lowest level since 1948 as natural gas companies that will supply the LNG export industry have decided that prices are too low for now to make exploration and production an economic activity.
