Japanese LNG spot prices can’t fall by much more unless shipping is provided for free

Japan said the price of spot liquefied natural gas cargoes imported into the country in February was $6.90 per million British thermal units compared with $10.70 per MMBtu in the year-ago period as the worst effects of the oil price slump began to level off in the LNG market after 12 months of declines.
