Chevron earnings hit eight-year high as more Wheatstone LNG cargoes point at North Asia

US major Chevron Corp., a key operator of LNG export plants in Australia and Africa, reported third-quarter earnings of $6.1 billion, the highest in more than eight years and expressed optimism over natural gas markets and future LNG operations.
