Polish FSRU hits the water

Polish energy company Gaz-System’s FSRU programme has reached another important stage with the launch of the FSRU.

Cryosafe Services, an LNG operations and consultancy support service company, has signed a partnership agreement with bound4blue to collaborate towards the application of the latter’s eSAIL® integration for LNGCs.

Qatari LNGCs exit Gulf for Pakistan

A second Qatar controlled LNGC, the 174,000 cu m Mihzem, sailed from Ras Laffan and was due to arrive at Port Qasim, Pakistan on 12th May, according to LSEG shipping data.

Asian spot prices soften

Asian spot LNG prices fell last week, after two weeks of gains, on the prospect of a US/Iran peace agreement and subdued northeast Asia demand.

Long-term demand for LNG shipping contracts is to increase, according to US-based LNG developer NextDecade, due to the escalating situation in the Middle East.
