Qatar Gas Transport Co. (Nakilat) said it signed a deal with the shipping arm of Royal Dutch Shell for the management of Qatar's new LNG carrier fleet.

Malaysia Marine & Heavy Engineering (MMHE), a unit of Malaysia International Shipping Corp. (MISC), said its Pasir Gudang shipyard now has the capacity for LNG carrier drydocking and refurbishment.

UK natural gas prices plunged to between zero and 12 pence per therm as a new pipeline from Norway to the UK, Europe’s largest market, caused a temporary glut for a second day.
