June 2 (LNG) - The 261,150 cubic metres capacity Q-Max carrier “Al Mayeda” is scheduled to discharge a cargo on June 9 at the South Hook LNG import terminal in the port of Milford Haven. The shipment will arrive as UK National Balancing Point natural gas prices stay at around seasonal record levels of the equivalent of just over $20 per million British thermal units. The Qatari vessel lifted the cargo on May 22 from the Ras Laffan export complex in the Arabian Gulf.
Demand for liquefied natural gas shipments from liquefaction plants in the Atlantic and Pacific Basins remained at reasonable levels as cargo liftings edged higher and North Asia spot prices increased again along with European gas values.
April 22 (LNGJ) – The UK is scheduled to receive two cargoes from Qatar in the next week. The 266,000 cubic metres capacity Q-Max carrier “Al Mayeda” will deliver a shipment on April 25 to the South Hook terminal at Milford Haven and the 210,000 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex vessel “Mesaimeer” will unload at South Hook on April 29.
