Royal Dutch Shell, whose oil and gas business includes annual sales of 60 million tonnes per annum of LNG, has reached an agreement for the sale of its interests in the US Permian Basin to ConocoPhillips for $9.5 billion in cash.
Japanese LNG importer Tokyo Gas has acquired more US shale gas assets in East Texas and Louisiana after closing a transaction with a subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell.
