Ineos, the European petrochemicals company with shale-gas and refinery assets in the UK, said it signed a long-term supply agreement with SP Chemicals of China for the supply of ethane made from US shale gas.

Evergas, the Denmark-based operator of a 26-vessel multigas fleet including new small-scale LNG carriers of 27,500 cubic metres capacity, has held a naming ceremony for its fifth vessel of a series built to carry US shale-gas ethane to chemical plants in Europe.

Danish shipping company Evergas, the operator of a 25-vessel multigas fleet including new small-scale LNG carriers of 27,500 cubic metres capacity, has been merged into another unit by privately-held parent company Jaccar Holdings.
