US LNG and energy engineering company McDermott International and Baker Hughes-GE have signed an accord with Western Gas Corp. in Western Australia for its Equus natural gas project to provide volumes for LNG production and the domestic market.

July 21 (LNGJ) - The North West Shelf LNG plant in Western Australia, whose shareholders include six major energy companies including Woodside and Shell, said it was continuing to progress with front-end engineering and design associated with the proposed development of resources from New York-based Hess Exploration’s permits in the Carnarvon Basin. The FEED study will enable a final investment decision on the proposed third-party feed-gas processing project with Hess.
