June 27 (LNGJ)- Two LNG shipments are headed for Dutch terminals in the next week, according to shipping data. The carrier “Gaslog Gibraltar “ with 174,000 cubic metres capacity is scheduled to deliver a cargo on June 28 from the Atlantic LNG export plant at Point Fortin in Trinidad to the Eemshaven floating import terminal in Groningen. The cargo was lifted on June 17 from the Caribbean plant.
A second delivery to the Netherlands is due on July 4 to the Gate terminal in Rotterdam by the Qatari Q-Flex vessel “Umm Slal” with 261,000 cubic metres of capacity. The shipment was loaded on June 14 at the Ras Laffan export plant in the Arabian Gulf.
April 24 (LNGJ) - Three more cargoes are heading for Belgium and the Netherlands this week with Dutch Title Transfer Facility prices currently at around the equivalent of $13.185 per million British thermal units. The “BW Pavilion Leeara” carrier with 154,800 cubic metres capacity is due to berth on April 25 at the Belgian Zeebrugge terminal with a cargo from Freeport LNG in Texas lifted on April 7.
The “Maran Gas Asclepius” with 145,000 cubic metres of capacity is scheduled to arrive at Zeebrugge on April 28 with a cargo from Ras Laffan in Qatar. The 175,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “GasLog Gibraltar” is scheduled to discharge a shipment on April 29 at the Dutch Gate terminal in Rotterdam. The cargo was lifted from Sabine Pass in Louisiana on April 13.
March 21 (LNGJ) - Two LNG cargoes area heading for the two UK import terminals at the Port of Milford Haven, according to shipping data. The “GasLog Gibraltar” with 174,000 cubic metres capacity is due to berth on March 22 at the Dragon terminal with a cargo from the US plant at Elba Island near Savannah, Georgia.
A second delivery is scheduled on March 24 at Milford Haven’s South Hook facility when the Q-Max carrier “Rasheeda” with 260,900 cubic metres of capacity will discharge a cargo lifted from Ras Laffan in the Arabian Gulf on March 5.
Indian liquefied natural gas monthly imports edged higher as shipments cost less and began to gather pace along with economic activity and shipments for September at the nation’s largest terminal from Cove Point in the US and from Trinidad.
May 12 (LNGJ) - At least three LNG cargoes are being delivered to the UK in the next week. The 155,000 cubic metres capacity “British Sapphire” was unloading a shipment on May 12 at the UK Isle of Grain terminal in Kent from the Point Fortin plant in Trinidad. Two Qatargas cargoes were then due at the UK South Hook terminal in Milford Haven. The 216,200 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex carrier “Al Gharrafa” will unload on May 15 at South Hook and the 266,000 cubic metres capacity Q-Max vessel “Al Mafyar” was scheduled to berth on May 18.
The cargoes were heading for the UK as European natural gas prices were still at low levels. The UK National Balancing Point natural gas price fell again this week to $1.65 per million British thermal units while Continental Europe’s Dutch Title Transfer Facility (TTF) price was higher than the NBP at $2.05 per MMBtu.
Asian spot prices for June were at around $2.05 per MMBtu while oil-linked contract prices were at $6 per MMBtu and above. Among the many shipments on the water, the 160,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Asia Vision” was scheduled to deliver a cargo on May 25 to the Map Ta Phut terminal in Thailand from Wheatstone LNG in Western Australia. The 174,000 cubic metres capacity “GasLog Gibraltar” was due to unload a US shipment at India’s Dahej terminal on May 28 from Cheniere Energy’s Sabine Pass plant in Louisiana.
GasLog Ltd, the Monaco-based LNG fleet owner with 25 ships operating and nine others on order, has given more details of its terms for the latest time charters for vessels to US LNG producer Cheniere Energy, owner of the Sabine Pass plant in Louisiana and the Corpus Christi facility in Texas.
GasLog, the US-listed and Monaco-based shipping line whose fleet numbers 27 LNG carriers, has told investors in New York that the LNG shipping market was evolving with more fragmentation, inter-basin trading and value maximization helping to increase shipping intensity.
