LNG developer Pembina gets regulatory approval for buying Enbridge stakes in Alliance and Aux Sable facilities
Pembina Pipeline Corp., the developer of the Cedar LNG project in British Columbia and the owner of North American pipelines and terminals, has received regulatory approval for a deal agreed with Canadian pipelines company peer, Enbridge Inc., to acquire stakes in pipeline and processing systems and power assets for C$3.1 billion (US$2.28Bln).

The Canadian Atlantic Coast province of Newfoundland and Labrador has launched a liquefied natural gas export project backed by provincial Premier Andrew Furey and two First Nation groups of native North Americans and proposing to use gas previously reinjected during offshore oil production.
