June 13 (LNGJ) - The 213,530 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex carrier “Al Shamal” is scheduled to discharge a cargo on June 17 at the UK Dragon import terminal in the port of Milford Haven, according to shipping data. The cargo was lifted on May 29 from the Ras Laffan export plant in Qatar and will arrive in the UK with National Balancing Point market prices at the equivalent of around $18 per million British thermal units.
Another LNG carrier, the “Rudolph Samoylovich” with 172,000 cubic metres of capacity, is traversing the North Sea carrying a cargo from the Yamal LNG plant in Russia, the data showed. The shipment was loaded onto the Bahamas-flagged vessel on June 8 at the Sabetta export terminal in northern Siberia.
May 24 (LNGJ) - Qatar is delivering two LNG cargoes to the UK this week. The first vessel from Ras Laffan, the 213,500 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex carrier “Al Shamal”, will berth on May 27 at the South Hook import facility at the Welsh port of Milford Haven, according to the port authorities. The second Qatari cargo is scheduled to arrive at the same terminal on May 30 on board the 257,980 cubic metres capacity Q-Max vessel “Al Ghuwairiya”.
