July 9 (LNGJ) - Baker Hughes, the US energy services company, has said that the worldwide rig count for June 2015 was 2,136, up nine from the 2,127 counted in May 2015, and down 1,309 from the 3,445 counted in June 2014. The average US rig count for June 2015 was 861, down 28 from the 889 in May 2015, and down 1,000 from the 1,861 of June 2014. The average Canadian rig count for June 2015 was 129, up 49 from the 80 counted in May 2015, and down 111 from the 240 counted in June 2014.
