June 23 (LNGJ) - Honeywell Process Solution said that it was selected to be the integrated main automation contractor for the Freeport LNG expansion project located on Quintana Island in Texas. The expansion will give Freeport LNG 13.9 million tons a year of export capacity. Startup is expected in 2018. HPS said it will have responsibility for designing, delivering and installing the automation, instrumentation, controls and safety and security systems.
