June 12 (LNGJ) - Hess Corp. the New York-based energy company with plans to sign a tolling agreement for LNG production in Western Australia, said it had agreed to sell a 50 percent interest in its US Bakken shale midstream assets in North Dakota to Global Infrastructure Partners, a leading global infrastructure investor for $2.67 billion in cash. John Hess, Chief Executive of the New York company, said: "This transaction delivers significant and immediate value to our shareholders. The joint venture with its strategically located assets will be one of the largest midstream operators in the Bakken."
