May 29 (LNG) - The Ichthys LNG project in Australia being developed by Inpex Corp. of Japan and France's Total said work was continuing to ramp up on the onshore liquefaction plant at Bladin Point near the northern port of Darwin. "About 8000 workers will be required on any given day between 2015 and 2016," the developers said. The venture when completed will produce 8.4 million tonnes per annum of LNG from feed-gas delivered by an 890-kilometre, 42-inch pipeline from the offshore gas field.
