May 18 (LNGJ) - TGE Marine Gas Engineering, based in Bonn, Germany, said it supervised the successful gas trials of a new LNG carrier. After the tests, the 30,000 cubic metres capacity small-scale Chinese vessel "Hai Yang Shi You" was handed over by Jiangnan Shipyard to the owner, China National Offshore Oil Corp, the nation's largest LNG import terminal owner. "The carrier will operate on the Chinese coast line and deliver LNG to Hainan Island," TGE explained.
