Dec 8 (LNGJ) - Four LNG carriers departed the Sabine Pass LNG export plant in Louisiana over the past week, while two other tankers were loading at the facility through December 7, according to the US Energy Information Administration. The Henry Hub national benchmark spot price fell from $3.06 per million British thermal units (MMBtu) over the report week to $2.92 per MMBtu. On the New York Mercantile Exchange, the front-month January 2018 contract price fell from $3.17 per MMBtu to $2.92 per MMBtu. Net injections to working gas totaled 2 billion cubic feet (Bcf) for the previous week. “Working natural gas stocks are 3,695 Bcf, which is 7 percent less than the year-ago level and 1 percent less than the five-year (2012-2016) average for this week,” said the EIA.
