Dec 4 (LNGJ) - JGC Corp., the leading Japanese LNG and energy engineering company, said it received a contract worth around $850 million with two Indonesian partners for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of a gas processing plant at Bojonegoro in the East Java Province of Indonesia. The lump-sum, turn-key contract was awarded by Indonesian state-owned energy company Pertamina. The project will process volumes from the Jambaran-Tiung Biru gas field amounting to 330 million standard cubic feet per day for the domestic market. “The Indonesian government has decided, as one of its important policies, to develop a domestic gas supply network to respond to the increasing energy demand in the country,” said JGC.
