Oct 6 (LNGJ) - US LNG exports fell from five shipments to three over the past week. The US Energy Information Administration said in its weekly natural gas report that three vessels with LNG-carrying capacity of 11.2 billion cubic feet left Sabine Pass with cargoes and a fourth was loading at the Louisiana terminal on October 4. The US natural gas storage report showed nationwide net injections into storage totaled 42 Bcf for the week compared with the five-year average net injections of 91 Bcf and last year's net injections of 76 Bcf during the same week. “Increased power demand for natural gas likely contributed to lower net injections,” said the EIA.
