Nov 1 (LNGJ) - BP of the UK noted in its latest quarterly statement that it was proceeding with an onshore compression project for Atlantic LNG in Trinidad. “The project is now 100 percent funded and owned by BP Trinidad and Tobago and will be operated by Atlantic LNG,” BP said. The UK major’s third-quarter profit was $1.66 billion compared with $1.23Bln a year ago. For the first nine months of 2016, BP posted a loss of $1.07Bln compared with a loss of $2.92Bln in the same nine months of 2015 because of charges associated with the Deepwater Horizon accident and oil spill in the US Gulf of Mexico.
