Malaysia FLNG contract win

June 2 (LNGJ) - Malaysia’s Alam Maritim Resources was awarded a subcontract from state-run energy company Petronas for work on the latter stages of the floating LNG production vessel “PFLNG Satu” that will be deployed in 2016 over the Kanowit natural gas field, located 180 kilometres offshore Sarawak. Alam said its contract starts in mid-June and runs until mid-October when the vessel built in South Korea will be ready to start producing 1.2 million tonnes of LNG per annum
