Dubai hosts engineering event

May 31 (LNGJ) - The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) said it would hold its Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE) in Dubai under the patronage of the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The ATCE will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from September 26-28, the first time that it will be held in the Middle East in its 92-year history. “The conference also will offer 13 special sessions, a mixture of technical and strategic in nature,” said the SPE, which has offices around the world, including in London, Kuala Lumpur Dubai and Houston, Texas. The ATCE is expecting more than 10,000 attendees, who will also have the opportunity to visit the exhibition with more than 250 exhibitors showcasing technologies for oil, natural gas and LNG.
