May 12 (LNGJ) - American Bureau of Shipping Chairman, President and Chief Executive Christopher J. Wiernicki has been inducted into the International Maritime Hall of Fame at an annual event held by the Maritime Association of the Port of New York and New Jersey. It recognizes the achievements of maritime industry leaders in the 21st Century. In addition to his role in the US maritime industry and its important work, including making liquefied natural gas transport and its use safer, Wiernicki also serves as Chairman of the International Association of Classification Societies.
