April 14 (LNGJ) - Svitzer, the Denmark-based towage and tug company, has taken delivery of the last in a series of four eco-friendly, diesel-electric hybrid tugs from the ASL Shipyard in Singapore for the Chevron-operated Gorgon LNG plant on Barrow Island offshore Western Australia. Svitzer has taken delivery of four of the tugs and are being readied for service at the Gorgon LNG plant. ASL owns and operates three shipyards in Singapore, Batam, Indonesia and Guangdong, China.
