April 9 (LNGJ) - Petrofac, the UK-based international oil and gas service provider, was awarded an Integrity and Maintenance Programme Development contract by Inpex Corp. of Japan for the Ichthys LNG project in Australia. The Petrofac group subsidiary Plant Asset Management (PAM) will complete the work over the next 20 months. "It will be one of the largest global projects awarded to Plant Asset Management, involving an integrated gas chain covering both upstream and midstream assets," Petrofac said.
