LNG

Mar 24 (LNGJ) - Gaztransport and Technigaz (GTT), the French designer of membrane containment systems for maritime transportation and the storage of LNG, received a ship tanks order from Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering of South Korea. The LNG carrier is for Teekay LNG, the subsidiary of Canadian shipping line Teekay Corp. The vessel is scheduled to be delivered in 2018 and will be built with the No. 96 GW tank, allowing for an optimized boil-off rate of the LNG cargo.
