Mar 5 (LNGJ) - The China National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said monthly natural gas demand was up more than 10 percent at 18.8 billion cubic metres, the equivalent of 14 million tonnes of LNG. The country's own natural gas monthly production was 12.6 Bcm, while imports by pipeline from Central Asia and in the form of LNG cargoes was 6.0 Bcm, an increase of 18.6 percent compared with the same month last year, the NDRC said.
