Mar 2 (LNGJ) - Angolan energy company Sonangol said annual production of natural gas in the southwest African nation was 864,401 tons last year, down 28.5 percent on the previous year. "This was impacted by the shutdown of Angola LNG in April 2014 following operational difficulties in the gas-processing unit," the company said. "However, the plant is scheduled to restart full production by the end of 2015, once all issues have been rectified," Sonangol said of the liquefaction plant operated by US major Chevron.
