Feb 19 (LNGJ) - Klaipedos Nafta of Lithuania, operator of the first LNG import facility in the Baltic Sea region, and Bomin Linde LNG, a German-based provider of LNG as a marine fuel, signed a provisional accord to cooperate on fuel market development. The Lithuanian company last year started import operations at its floating storage and regasification unit named "Independence" and deployed in the Baltic port of Klaipeda. Bomin Linde intends to become the user of the LNG terminal and to book regulated reloading capacities with the facility becoming a regional break-bulk hub for the Baltic.
