Feb 11 (LNGJ) - The LNG and energy markets will be affected by the oil price slump for some time to come. The North Sea Brent crude oil prices will average $58 per barrel in 2015 and $75 per barrel in 2016, with 2015 and 2016 annual average prices of US benchmark crude, West Texas Intermediate, expected to be $3 per barrel and $4 per barrel respectively below Brent, the US Energy Information Administration said in its latest report. January was the seventh consecutive month that Brent oil prices decreased, reaching $48 per barrel, the lowest since March 2009. The EIA expects the Henry Hub natural gas spot price, which averaged $4.39 per million British thermal units in 2014, to average $3.05 per MMBtu in 2015 and $3.47 per MMBtu in 2016.
