LNG

Jan 27 (LNGJ) - The French port of Dunkirk has chosen three companies to cooperate on a project to set up LNG bunkering facilities. The port has chosen French import terminal project Dunkirk LNG, Air Liquide and Belgian shipping group Exmar. During the first phase it is proposed that loading arms and a main jetty at the Dunkirk LNG terminal, currently under construction, will be adapted to allow the supply of LNG to ships with capacities of up to 2,000 cubic metres. In a second phase, the consortium proposes to create a marine station for ship fuelling.
