Jan 26 (LNGJ) - A Texas Republican member of the US House of Representatives, Ted Poe, has introduced an amendment to the "Export American Natural Gas Act" which would require the US Department of Energy to make a decision on whether to approve or deny LNG export applications within 60 days. The bill also provides that if the DoE does not make a decision to either approve or deny a licence application within the deadline, the application would automatically be approved.
