Jan 15 (LNGJ) - GTT, the French LNG marine tank technology company, said its membrane containment system has been licensed to three more LNG carriers being built for Teekay LNG at the Korean shipbuilder Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering. The vessels are expected to be delivered during 2018 and will be built with the innovative No. 96 GW technology, which allows an optimized boil-off rate for the LNG cargo. Philippe Berterottiere, Chairman and Chief Executive of GTT, said: "DSME and Teekay are two long-term partners. We are delighted to see that these companies have chosen, once again, membrane containment solutions for new buildings."
