Jan 1 (LNGJ) - Golar LNG has executed an agreement for the conversion of the 125,000 cubic metres capacity LNG carrier, the "Gimi", to a floating liquefaction facility at Singapore's Keppel Shipyard. Keppel has simultaneously entered into a sub-contract with US LNG project and equipment company Black and Veatch for its licensed processing technology. This second suite of agreements mirrors those for the Golar vessel, the "Hilli". The conversion of the "Hilli" is  underpinned by a preliminary deal for its deployment in an FLNG project offshore the West African nation of Cameroon.
