Dec 22 (LNGJ) - Wartsila, the Finland-based marine propulsion supplier, said a new LNG-fuelled ferry was being built for Swedish operator Rederi AB Gotland to sail between the Swedish mainland and the island of Gotland. Wartsila will supply a complete LNG propulsion and fuel storage and supply system for the high-speed ferry, which will be the first Swedish-flagged LNG passenger vessel. The ship is being built at the Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI) facility in China.
