Dec 18 (LNGJ) - Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Co has applied to the US Federal Energy Regulatory to construct a 7-mile, 36-inch lateral pipeline for the Sabine Pass LNG export project to provide more firm feed-gas transportation services from St. Helena Parish in Louisiana to the liquefaction plant in Cameron Parish. Transco wants the FERC to issue a final order granting the authorization by September 1, 2015. "Approval by this date will enable Transco to complete construction of the proposed facilities and begin providing service by January 1, 2017," the pipeline company said.
