Dec 18 (LNGJ) - The Oregon Court of Appeals ruled in favour of Clatsop County in upholding its decision to deny a key permit for the Oregon LNG project's pipeline. Last year Oregon LNG challenged the county's decision to deny the permit on the grounds of bias. "Without the County's approval, the proposed LNG pipeline in Clatsop County is dead in the water, as state law prohibits the LNG company from securing state environmental permits or certifications without county land use permits," claimed a group formed in 2009 to oppose the Oregon LNG project for environmental reasons on sites along the Columbia River.
